That middle ground, as you call it, is the toughest part I think for me. Especially in a world that spends millions of marketing dollars targeting that “discretionary spending” bucket. The difference between Passions and Play has truly made our lives more focused on what’s important to us.
And yes, I have found that asking questions like “do I like my job?” Or “do I want this thing?” are not as powerful as starting from zero and asking “how hard would I work to get that job?” or “would I work extra hours for that item?”
For me, that shows a more accurate value of something.
